Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have implemented the necessary precautions based on the advice of the World Health Organisation, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients and therapists. We are monitoring the situation and making necessary adjustments as needed.
If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions in the ‘SKINSTITUTE- Covid-19 Safety Precautions Questionnaire’, please call our staff in order to reschedule a booking when you are symptom free.
You will need to postpone your appointment if:
- You have any cold or flu like symptoms, such as a fever, difficulty breathing, fatigue, a cough, or a sore throat
- You have been in close proximity to someone who is ill or has been diagnosed with, or suspected of having COVID-19
- You have returned from travelling interstate or overseas in the past 2 weeks.
Hygiene and Safety Precautions:
We have always maintained strict policies around cleanliness and sanitisation, and along with maintaining this standards extra precautionary measures have been taken:
- Temperature taken upon entry (infrared contactless)All consumables are strictly single use
- All treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned between each sessionAdditional hand sanitisers have been placed in areas of the clinic to encourage guests to sanitise when entering the spa, before and after treatment
- Shared areas in clinics cleaned multiple times daily
- Protective masks, gloves and aprons worn during consultation and treatment
- Bookings are limited to 30 mins
- In order to follow distancing rules, strict measures have been put into place at our clinics in order to ensure 1.5 metres is kept between clients whilst in waiting areas
